VODOHOD RECOGNIZED AS THE LEADER OF THE RUSSIAN CRUISE INDUSTRY FOR 2023

On March 15, 2024, the expert commission of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport summed up the results of the annual competition Industry Leader 2023. Vodohod has become the winner in the nomination “Best Shipping Company Carrying out Transportation along Tourist Routes (Cruises)”. For many years, Vodohod has confirmed its status as the industry leader with worthy business results, new industry records and social responsibility to customers, employees, partners and the whole country.

In 2023, Vodohod carried passengers along tourist routes in the territory of 6 federal districts of the Russian Federation (North-West, Central, Volga, Southern, Siberian and Far Eastern). Cruise routes and guided walking tours were organized:

• within the boundaries of the Unified Deep Water System of European Russia;
• along the Yenisei River from Krasnoyarsk to Dudinka (1992 km);
• on Lake Baikal (250 km);
• in the White Sea from Belomorsk to the Solovetsky Islands;
• in the Azov and Black Seas;
• in the Baltic Sea along the St. Petersburg-Vyborg route.

We consider the record figures for the volume of tourist services to be the company’s most important achievement over the past year. In 2023, 148,019 people vacationed on cruises with the Vodohod company. Similar figures were achieved only in 2018, when our passenger flow, taking into account foreign tourists, amounted to 133,185 customers.
