PASSENGER LINE BETWEEN PETERHOF AND KRONSTADT OPENED

On May 24, the Vodohod.Passenger Port company launched a water passenger route between the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve and the port city Kronstadt. The city center and tourist areas of St. Petersburg will be connected by the high-speed passenger catamaran with a passenger capacity of 130. From each location, Grifon will make 6 trips every day. Soon, the passenger water line will be extended to Lomonosov City. This will allow tourists to visit all three districts of St. Petersburg in one day, since high-speed vessels are the fastest for transferring between the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, the port city Kronstadt and the Lomonosov City.
The traditional tourist route connecting the center of St. Petersburg (the Hermitage Nizhny pier) and the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve will now be expanded with calls to Kronstadt, and will later extend to Lomonosov.
From the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve and Kronstadt, the passenger catamaran Grifon will start 6 trips per day.
Travel time between Peterhof and Kronstadt is 35 minutes.
As soon as the pier in the city of Lomonosov is ready, the high-speed passenger line will connect St. Petersburg with three districts: Peterhof State Museum-Reserve – Kronstadt – Lomonosov. High-speed vessels will travel between the piers of these locations in the waters of the Gulf of Finland during the day. This will allow residents and guests of the Northern capital to see several sites in one day and plan their trip to their liking.
