KHIIDENSELGA – NEW POINT ON THE VODOHOD ROUTE MAP

Georgy Chicherin ship made its first call to the village of Khiidenselga in the Republic of Karelia on May 28. Thanks to the new pier installed by the Vodohod company in the village of Khiidenselga, tourists will have a more comfortable experience in the Ruskeala Mountain Park and on other guided tours. During the season, the Vodohod company’s motor ships will make 52 calls to Khiidenselga, with more than 9,600 guests expected to visit Ruskeala.

With the installation of a pier in the village of Khiidenselga, a ship call in Karelia will be guaranteed to cruise tourists, regardless of weather conditions and the “mood” of Lake Ladoga. The new pier can simultaneously accommodate several ships, which allows increasing the guest flow to the northern shore of the lake.

Those tourists who choose cruises with a visit to the village of Khiidenselga will get acquainted with the unique nature of Karelia, with the history of local mining and the extraction of Ruskeala marble, with the authentic culture and architecture of these Northern lands.
