ECO-FRIENDLY WATER TRANSPORTATION NOW AVAILABLE IN YAROSLAVL

On May 29 in Yaroslavl, Vodohod.Passenger Port launched river cruises via the new electric catamaran Beloyar constructed in 2023 at the company’s request at the local Paritet-Center shipyard. The double-deck electric boat under the “Looker 1100H” project will offer up to 6 river cruises daily in the waters of Yaroslavl. The plans include up to 800 trips along the Volga during the season and more than 50 thousand tourists on board.

Trips on Beloyar will be noise-free, vibration-free, and without fuel smell. The eco-friendly vessel is a balance of the advantages of public and tourist transport with a new level of comfort for passengers.

Beloyar catamaran yacht has a passenger capacity of 130, with three crew members on board. The main feature of the catamaran is that it runs entirely on electric traction, making the vessel environmentally friendly, quiet and smooth to operate.

The new-generation electric vessel has been developed with care for the environment. Beloyar has zero carbon dioxide emission, with no need to use fuels or lubricants to operate the vessel.
