The recreation center "Bayar" is located on the shore of one of the picturesque bays of the strait of the Maloye More (the Small Sea). The name of this bay is "Joy", which sounds like "Bayar" in the Buryat language. The ancient and unique Tazheran steppe stretches around. The age of the Tagheran massif is about 400 million years. Tagherany is a hilly picturesque relief, steppe grasslands, an abundance of birds; a special arid microclimate and ancient pre-glacial flora are preserved here.

The recreation center "Bayar" has been hosting guests since 2006. On the territory of over 15 hectares, at different distances from the coastline, there are three complexes of houses. A water sauna is open all year round. The local cafe serves European, Russian and Buryat cuisine.
