Immerse in the life of nomad reindeer herders. At this spot, you will get to know the life of a real Nenets camp — “real people”, as they call themselves. You will visit a chum and taste scalding tea with a family of nomads, listen to myths and fairy tales accompanied by the sounds of a jew’s harp, learn traditional crafts: weaving and throwing “maut” — the Nenets lasso, embroidery of fur “sokui” — traditional clothes that protect the Nenets from the cold wind, moisture and gnat. You will see a herd of 500 domesticated reindeer.
